Returns and Refunds
We offer a 30 day return policy. You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return, for any reason.
To be eligible, the item must be unworn, unused and in its original condition, with all tags still attached. Please include your order number as proof of purchase.
To start a return, email us at info@monterafashion.nl. Once your return is approved we will send you instructions and the correct return address. Unless the item is faulty or was sent in error, return postage is your responsibility. We cannot accept parcels sent back without an approved return request.
Your return address
We work with several specialist depots, which means the return address differs per order. Always wait for our confirmation email before sending anything back. Please do not send parcels to our registered office in Linne unless we ask you to, as this delays your refund.
We recommend sending your return with tracking and keeping your proof of postage. Returns travel at the sender's risk until they reach us.
Damaged or incorrect items
Check your order as soon as it arrives and get in touch straight away if anything is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered.
Once we have confirmed the item is faulty, arrived damaged or was sent in error, we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund, and we cover the return postage. Please send us clear photos with your order number so we can sort it quickly.
Items we cannot accept
- Underwear and swimwear once the hygiene seal or strip has been removed
- Pierced jewellery, for hygiene reasons
- Gift cards
- Items returned worn, marked, or carrying odours such as perfume or smoke
- Items returned without their original tags
Sale items can be returned under both our 30 day policy and your statutory rights.

Exchanges
The quickest way to swap a size or colour is to order the item you want and register your current item as a normal return. That way the new piece is on its way to you while your return is still in transit.
Prefer us to handle it? Email us and we will check availability and tell you where to send the original.
Your 14 day cancellation right
Separately from our own 30 day policy, UK law gives you the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason. This right applies to every item, including sale items.
To use it, tell us within 14 days of receiving your delivery. You then have a further 14 days to send the item back. Any refund due is handled in line with UK consumer protection law.
Refunds
Once we have received and checked your return, we will email you to confirm whether it has been approved.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 7 working days of your parcel reaching us. Your bank or card provider may take a little longer to show it on your statement.
